Understand the service boundary

uk.app provides subdomain registration and DNS management. A DNS record points a name at a service; the destination server controls website content, availability and its HTTPS certificate. Use your dashboard's domain health check to inspect DNS and HTTPS after changing hosting.

Compatibility with other providers

Some providers require a registrable domain or Public Suffix List entry when adding an independent DNS zone. A uk.app registration does not guarantee that acceptance. A provider's custom-hostname feature may have different requirements; confirm them before selecting your hosting.

Security and reporting

DNSSEC protects the authenticity of signed DNS responses; it does not verify the trustworthiness of a website's content. To report harmful content, use the abuse form and include the relevant URLs. Our acceptable use policy explains prohibited activity.
