Standard names
- Your name at yourname.uk.app, activated after payment confirmation
- 100 DNS records per name, wildcards, SRV, CAA
- REST API and scoped API tokens
- Dynamic DNS (dyndns2) for routers and homelabs
- ACME DNS-01 for wildcard certificates
- 20 redirects, parking page, WHOIS
- DNSSEC-signed zone, three authoritative nameservers
- HTTPS-only by design (.app HSTS preload)
Premium names
- Selected memorable words, places and meaningful short names
- All standard DNS and domain-management features included
- The applicable annual price is shown in search and before payment
- The premium price applies to both registration and annual renewal
- Your agreed annual price is retained for that registration
Only names released for premium sale can be purchased. Blocklisted and protected names remain unavailable.
Fair play
The current standard renewal price is £4.99. Premium names renew at their agreed premium price. Review your subscription and next billing date in the billing panel.
First registration payment, name unused: request a full refund within 14 days. This does not limit statutory rights. See cancellation and refund details.
If a renewal fails, DNS normally continues for 30 days, then pauses for 30 days. The name then enters the bin and normally has a further 30-day quarantine before reuse. See expiry and deletion rules.
Prices are in GBP. Review the final total before paying; your bank may apply currency-conversion fees.
What you need to bring
Moving a name to the bin stops its DNS service but does not cancel a card subscription. Cancel future card renewals in billing, or permanently delete the name to cancel its linked subscription and remove its records. These actions do not automatically refund a payment. Cancellation and refunds.
This subscription covers your uk.app name and its DNS management. Website hosting, a home internet connection and a mail service are separate. Configure a valid HTTPS certificate on your hosting or server before using the name in a browser.
Check that your chosen provider accepts your hostname as a custom domain. Registration does not guarantee acceptance as a separate DNS zone at Cloudflare or other providers. Read the hosting setup instructions and service limitations.
