Acceptable use policy

This policy applies to registered names, DNS records, redirects, API use and content or services reached through those names. Names share a parent domain, so misuse can affect other users and the service's reputation.

Prohibited activity

• Phishing, credential theft, deceptive login or payment pages, fraud and impersonation intended to mislead.
• Malware distribution, botnet or command-and-control infrastructure, unauthorised exploitation and attacks on other systems.
• Unsolicited bulk email, spam infrastructure and evasion of abuse restrictions.
• Child sexual abuse material, unlawful terrorist content and other activity prohibited by applicable law.
• Intellectual property infringement, counterfeit goods and unlawful sanctions evasion.
• Unauthorised access to accounts or infrastructure and deliberate bypass of rate limits, validation or restrictions.
• Reselling or sub-licensing registrations without the operator's agreement. Do not share account passwords or represent yourself as the operator of uk.app.

Your responsibilities

Use names and content you have the right to use, maintain a current contact email, and secure your credentials and destination servers. You remain responsible for your hosting configuration and activity you authorise through your account. Report compromised credentials or destinations promptly.

Registration and threat checks

Technical labels, reserved names, protected-brand patterns and phishing-associated patterns can be rejected at registration. Passing a check is not approval of content or confirmation of legal rights to a name. If a legitimate name is blocked, contact hostmaster@uk.app with an explanation.

Where configured, threat checks use URLhaus or Google Web Risk. Matches are evidence for review and can be outdated or incomplete; a clean result is not a guarantee of safety. We do not promise daily scanning of every name or automatic suspension after a threat report.

Reports and enforcement

Use the abuse form or email hostmaster@uk.app. Include the hostname, relevant URLs, concern, dates and evidence. Do not send unnecessary personal data, passwords or unlawful material; describe evidence and provide a lawful reference where possible.

We assess reports and may request clarification or corrective action, or restrict names, DNS service or accounts. Urgent security or legal circumstances may require action before notice. Response time depends on evidence, severity and operational availability; there is no guaranteed one-hour takedown or 24-hour acknowledgement.

Appeals

To contest a restriction, contact us from your account email with the name, notice reference if available, your explanation and corrective action. Suspended names require administrator review before restoration. Do not register replacements to evade an unresolved restriction.
